What is your turnaround time?
Check our shop status page to see where we are with orders in real time! Turnaround times are highest in the peak-back-to-school season, July through September, and lower during the rest of the year. All prints ship out within two weeks unless we have otherwise posted. This is the time required to print, punch, bind, pack, and ship your order. Beyond our two-week maximum turnaround, there will be an additional ship time based on your selected shipping speed. You may track your order's status by logging into your Hard Copy HQ account.
How long does a package take to arrive once shipped?
Shipping time is dependent upon the USPS service you've selected (media mail vs. Priority). USPS tracking information will be emailed to the email address provided at checkout as soon as the package is scanned in at the post office. You may also log into your Hard Copy HQ account to check its status.
Can you combine multiple files into one document for me?
Yes! Simply upload the files into the same document section, and we will print them all as if they were one file. Be sure to number your files according to the order you want them printed, and it also helps to upload them in order.
Can I print some pages in my file in color and others in black and white?
When selecting a black-and-white coil book or 3-ring binder, we upgrade the cover page to color for no additional charge. Beyond that, please select color or black and white for the entire document.
What is the difference between "pages" and "sheets"?
Pages refers to the number of impressions the printer has to make--single-sided documents have page per sheet of paper while double-sided have two. Sheets refers to the number of pieces of paper. For your order, you always enter the number of pages. Our pricing structure automatically accounts for double-sided printing and will slightly lower the cost of a document to account for the number of sheets of paper actually used.
What if I'm having issues uploading files or creating an account?
If you are submitting files or data to our site and it is just refreshing the page without accepting it, it might be a browser issue. Per GDPR laws, we have placed a consent disclaimer on our site. Clicking "deny" will block any of your information from reaching us, including what you intentionally enter. Try visiting our site in an incognito window or in another browser altogether and accept the agreement to proceed. If this does not solve your issue, please reach out by phone or contact us form so we can troubleshoot with you.
What if my order arrives damaged or is missing items?
Please let us know as soon as possible, no more than 30 days from the day you received your order. After too many weeks have passed, it will become impossible to determine whether the issue occurred in the shop, in transit, or after receipt. If the error was on our side, or if loss or damage occurred in transit but your package was insured, we will ship your replacements right away. Please make sure to note whether there is any apparent damage to your package and take pictures that we can share with the shipping carrier.
